A young wizard without a heart. The magical woman he loves. He must steal her powerful talisman or be enslaved again by an evil sorcerer.
Armed with his enchanted sword and faithful feline companion, made a captain in the guard, Beneban battles ice dragons to save the rebel friend his ruler ordered him to capture. Caught in an ambush, he conjures a desperate illusion to save his troop. Each use of his powers brings him closer to blindness.
When his Forest Lady love is captured by his foul nemesis, he risks everything to rescue her. To unlock the magic that will let him save her, his country and his sight, he must open the long-sealed school of wizardry, make an ally of the icy dragon queen, and defeat the dark magic of his former master.
The Magic of Larlion Book 3
A fatherless wizard. The royal lady he loves. A dangerous quest to become worthy draws Beneban far away, even as dark magic, drought and famine threaten his country and his Forest Lady love.
Enchanted sword in hand, he battles many perils with the new powers he has unlocked. If the black wizard Ztavin’s evil magic is gone, who is threatening the Ogdol throne? Laraynia is left to rally the country to meet another evil at home. Pride battles her longing for Beneban’s return, as the handsome Mergol king offers his friendship and more.
When the threat becomes clear, the allies converge on the Dark Fortress. The mystical harkowl has shown them the way, lending magical aid to battle the evil wizards who threaten them all. The Magic of Larlion, Book 4
The war ends in victory for Beneban and his friends, but his enemy’s evil lingers on. Enspelled by dark magic and fearing that his own magic is gone with the death of the harkowl, Beneban disappears. Wandering with his magic sword, his giant feline companion, and a faithful tiny Worf servant, he is lost.
New beginnings spring out of the peace in Larlion. The Forest Lady returns to her beloved Forest to heal her lonely heart and raise her fast-growing family. The Vardraken queen and her wizard consort settle at the Great Shrine and realize that ice dragons may be easier to raise than magical children.
The Grand Lar, healing from Ztavin’s malevolent spell, finds joy in his friendship with a lovely and spirited tavern keeper. A new adventure begins as he sends an army to help his Ogdol friends retake their neighboring kingdom.
With Beneban seeming lost to all hope, will Laraynia find comfort in the arms of the Mergol King? Can Forest magic and the Grand Lar’s power bring the young wizard back from the brink of death in time to foil the rise of their old enemy and save Og-dan from darkness?

Recalled from the brink of death by the Grand Lar, the wizard Beneban is set upon a quest. The black magic that bewitched him has been banished, but he cannot trust his own powers. To protect those dear to him, he leaves his family and his one true love to lead the army to Og-dan.
Forsaken and confused, Laraynia returns to her enchanted Forest to raise her bewitching children while a brilliant baby wizard is nurtured at The Great Shrine. Weary warriors, home at last, raise a new generation. But Ztavin’s old malevolence, feeding on death and blood, spreads terror again and spawns a scion that sets Torgarde ablaze.
With his enchanted sword, feline companion, and faithful friends by his side, Beneban takes arms against the fiendish power that threatens Larlion. When all seems lost, can the combined strength of Forest, children, music, wizard, and automaton triumph against the power of death and darkness?
